Organizational Members

Organizational Members will be added to the CDPC email list, will benefit from access to CDPC regular drug policy updates, position papers, and other relevant materials, and receive ongoing communications.

Members will be invited to endorse position statements, policy briefs, and any other CDPC communications activity.

The CDPC’s Steering Committee and working groups provide the core capacity for CDPC to implement its work plans. Organizational Members may be invited to run for a position on the CDPC Steering Committee when applicable, as positions become available.

Organizational Members may join specific working group if they demonstrate:

  • Commitment to participate in developing and implementing the work plan of the working group,
  • Formal commitment and capacity to actively take responsibility for identified deliverables within the work plan, and
  • Capacity and commitment to effectively manage any CDPC resources entrusted to them in carrying out their responsibilities under the work plan.

Organizational Members will be invited to provide input or to review specific CDPC activities when applicable.

Organizational Members will be listed on the CDPC’s website with live links to their website where possible.

To become a member of the CDPC, an organization must agree to:

  • fully support the vision, mission and values of CDPC, and not act in such a way as to be detrimental to CDPC’s cause or bring it into disrepute, and
  • promote CDPC products and positions on drug policy matters and extend its reach among its networks and constituencies.

Only one representative per organization will be accepted. The applicant can expect a reply to a submitted request for membership within 5 working days.

Individual Members

Individual Members will be added to the CDPC email list, will benefit from access to CDPC regular drug policy updates, position papers, and other relevant materials, and receive ongoing communications.

The CDPC’s Steering Committee and working groups provide the core capacity for CDPC to implement its work plans. Individual Members may be invited to run for a position on the Steering Committee when applicable, when positions become available. Individual Members may join specific working group if they demonstrate:

  • Commitment to participate in developing and implementing the work plan of the working group,
